Baby Doll Dress

Brooke decided to dress her little baby up in her little dress from her Aunt Lea! Hard to believe she fit in this same dress!! :) Brooke is 10 days old in this picture!

Little Mischief Maker?

Brooke ran off to go and do her own thing the other day....after about 5 minutes, I decided to go & see what mischief she was getting into. I found her sitting in the office. She had pulled the book "Financial Management" off the bookcase, and was proceeding to flip though the pages. She wasn't even tearing them, and quite proud of herself....hmmm. No the typical mischief for a 2 yr old!!

Tyler decided he wanted to try out the office chair as well....

He is getting really good at holding his head up, but alas still pretty floppy. :)

Wordless Wednesday

I got no title...

Ok...So I just wanted to post a few pictures, and I couldn't come up with a title for this post? :)

Here is a picture of Brooke working on her new "ABC" puzzle! She is getting great at puzzles, and absolutely loves them! Her favorite things to do now are puzzles & having you read to her. (This of course does not include playing with her buddies, or eating pop pops!).
I needed a new picture of mom & dad for our photo wall. Which on do you like better?

Tyler is 1!

1 Month old that is! Tyler is growing, growing, growing. I am not sure his actually weight, but he is quickly out growing all his newborn outfits!

He is doing a great job sleeping (for a 1 month old that is). He goes for about 2 1/2 to 3 hr spans in the middle of the night between eating, and then normally falls right back to sleep. Right now his eating schedule is basically (based on last night / today); 1:00 a.m., 4:00 a.m., 6:30 a.m.; 10:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 4:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m. Whew I guess that's a lot of feeding! No wonder he is growing so quickly. I am still in awe about the whole breast feeding thing, seeing as Brooke was on a bottle....and how well its working! So far Tyler has had only 3 bottles, and those were just because Nick wanted to continue to get him used to it...I haven't actually been away from him yet for any of his meals :)

September 13th will be my first day back to work...and I know it will be here way to quickly!!

Tyler was very excited that Aunt Tara, cousin Emi, and cousin Clayton came to visit to celebrate his 1 month birthday. It was also the first time they got to meet!

We tried to get a picture of all four kids....here is the best we got. :) Clayton is 4 months older than Tyler, and Emi is four months older than Brooke!

I am considering changing Wordless Wednesday into Sleeping Wednesday, but it just doesn't quite have the right ring to it...

Peach Picking!

This past weekend both my mom & brother-in-law (Randy) came up for a visit! Nick & Randy had a party to attend in Toledo, and my mom was driving up to our cottage. It was really, really nice of her to stay for the weekend, so we could catch up, plus this way I didn't have the kids all to myself for the evening!

Grandma (aka Mimi as Brooke decided to call her), and her two grandbabies!
Off to Erie Orchards for some peach picking! Uncle Randy helped Brooke reach the really high ones.

The best part of peach picking is getting to make sure they are yummy! Let me tell you I had my best peach ever!

Brooke just loved tickling Tyler's baby toes.

Uncle Randy also came to the rescue when Brooke's feet got dirty. Apparently, they were so dirty she couldn't take another step!

We ended the adventure with a very yummy apple cider slushy!
