Santa Came to Flat Rock!!

We were very excited to hear that Santa decided to make a quick stop in Flat Rock, Michigan this evening! We headed over with a few of our neighbors to visit with him.

Here is picture of all the girls. (Chloe, Gracie, Sophie & Brooke) The Fenech kids with Santa. (Vinnie, Sammy, Sophie & Gracie)
Brooke still wasn't quite sure what to think of Santa.
It also didn't help that she didn't get to see him until about 7:45, and 8:00 is bed time.

She was however, very, very excited about the carebear he gave her, and the pretty Christmas tree right next to him.

Here is Brooke's picture from her visit with him last year!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. We did our normal travelling between Cincinnati and Dayton for the weekend. We alternate the Thanksgiving dinner between the two families each year, and this year it was my family's turn. There were about 25 people at dinner, which is down from the years past where it had started to grow to around 40 people! Now, that there are new babies, I think the large crowd started to get to be a little much for some. (I still love the craziness, but I wasn't the one doing most of the cooking!)

Here are a few pictures of everyone sitting down to dinner. Mmmm..doesn't that food just look so yummy!

Here are some random, and fun pictures from the evening. Lea (older sis) with Edee (cousin's baby).

Of course I had a nice picture of Breanna (cousin) smiling with Emi, but I thought this one was much more entertaining, and really showed her true side...he he he..

Emi, Brooke & Edee.
"Edee I can't seem to figure out this puzzle. Would you like to give it a try...or at least a taste?"

"Shhh...Jorryn I have a secrete for you...."

One Grandpa, One Cookie, Two Grandbabies, and One Dog...wonder who won this battle....

Emi did of course. Check out that mouth full of cookie!

"Do you think this chair looks too big for me??"

This one is just right! "Now what do I want for Christmas this year??"

Christmas Pic Sneak Peak

We were out of town for the Thanksgiving weekend, and I didn't have the opportunity to upload new pictures from the camera. Hence, the missing "Wordless Wednesday" this week. So I felt bad, and decided to give you all a sneak peak to the Christmas pictures. Once again, Brooke took some really cute ones. Which I am really excited about because I needed to order the Christmas cards ASAP, so I would have time to receive them, and mail them out before the holidays!

Enjoy...and try to still be surprised when you receive your cards :)

Blog worthy?

So I feel bad about not having any blog posts over the weekend, but I just didn't feel like I had great pictures. Here are a few of the pictures from the weekend because, I don't want my fans to keep coming back and checking for a new post just to be disappointed to not have one :)

Brooke sported her Bengal's gear on Sunday! (I have no idea if they won, but I don't think they did.) As you can see from the picture she was having fun driving her little car around.
On Saturday, Brooke, Carolyn and I went to Robin's baby shower. TWINS!! She revealed the sex of the babies at the shower, which was really cute. (1 boy & 1 girl) You had to put your guess in a basket, which I was wrong with my guess of 2 boys. (Brooke was quite the helper at the shower.)

Also, the shower had a very cute theme of monkeys, monkeys, monkeys everywhere! I loved the idea with the cup cakes!

Brooke just liked playing with the plastic monkey!

If only I could have gotten her to take her hand out of her mouth, this would have been a cute picture :)
Brooke was also such a good helper with opening presents...or at least in providing added entertainment. She pushed this box of diapers all over the place, and then decided to just stop and eat the ribbon. It's a good thing this event was a baby shower, and everyone seemed pretty entertained instead of annoyed with Brooke's craziness.

Walking..Walking...Walking!!

Here are a few of Brooke's walking video's from today! Very fun accomplishment for her 16 month birthday!!

16 Months Old Today!!

Look who is 16 months old! Brooke was very excited for her 16 month birthday :) It actually turned out to be a very big day for her. She walked a total of 10 sets in a row! Plus she also learned how funny walking could be. It started with her walking to her daddy to show him her book, and she just kept on going after that!

Brooke also continues to be a wonderful eater & sleeper. She loves her vegetables most of all, and would probably eat a whole zucchini if we would let her. She also really enjoys anything with ketchup on it! Too bad it's just so messy. She goes to bed around 8:00 each night, and wakes up around 6:30 a.m. She is also still getting two naps a day. About 30 minutes around 9:00 a.m. (I am sure she could sleep longer, but they wake her up at daycare so she can participate in the activities.) Then she sleeps from about 12:30 to 2. Occasionally, she will also take a nap around 5:30 when we pick her up in the evening.

Overall, she is a very happy and giggly little kiddo. Still a munchkin, because her 12 month clothes still fit her best, and the 18 months are still a little big.

Here are her 16 month pictures. She kept scrunching her sign, so we decided to distract her with some Que balls!
Here are a few of her many, many out takes! Ta da!
Hmmm...that's an interesting light...
AHH..."I am sitting on a Que ball!"
"What is this for again?"

In the mornings, Brooke and I have a new routine. I put a few cheerios on the stool for her to eat. This way she is standing, and not getting attacked by Shelly with puppy kisses, plus she is staying where I can see her, and not getting into mischief while I finish putting my stuff together for work!

New Pink Cottage

So we looked out our front door Saturday afternoon, and there was a cute pink cottage sitting on the front step! We have some very nice neighbors, who have two girls which are about 5 & 7, and Brooke has been very fortunate to get some of their hand-me-downs :) It was very, very sweet of them to think of Brooke, and she absolutely loves this cottage!

Here are a few of the pictures. Grandpa even climbed inside to check out the place!!

It's really cute how the door separates at the top and bottom. Also, the windows all have curtains on the inside!

Peak-A-Boo!
