Baby's Room Update!

Yeah! The baby's room is finally finished! Now all we need is a little baby :) We are still waiting on the glider to come in, but besides that everything is finished.

We went with the NoJo Jungle baby theme, with stenciled banana leaves around the top boarder.
Here is a picture of the dressers, with baby pictures of Nick and I. Now we just need to add Baby Buttercup's picture in the middle.

I really hope she stays small for a long time, or she will never get a chance to wear all her cute outfits!

And finally my hospital bag is packed and ready to go. Tracy & Kim also put together a hospital basket for me with all the essentials....tennis balls (for back massages), change for the vending machines, pad of paper, hair ties, candy bars, flip flops, socks, large ice glasses, phone list, magazines, etc....etc.. Thanks you so much! I am sure it will all come in handy!

5 Year Anniversary!

Hard to believe it was 5 years ago today, we got married! Boy does the time fly when you are having a good time! We spend most of our anniversary cleaning the house, but did get away in the evening for a great dinner at a nearby Italian restaurant. Here are a few pictures of the evening out on the deck.

38 Week Update!

Today was my first day off work, and I must say I think we were very productive!

We started the day with a Dr.'s appointment, and the report out was a solid cm dilated, and pushing towards 2 cm, also, about 60% effaced. Next we headed over to the hospital we are planning on delivering at and got a quick tour of the maternity rooms, and process. Everything should be just smooth sailing now on delivery day. Next we headed over to Ann Arbor, and ending up driving away after a long day of negotiating, with a 2006 Saab Aero 9-3. Its definitely a better family car than the celica.

However, I am definitely going to miss the yellow toyota!

Right now I am thinking Sandy has the best odds for picking the date of July 8, 2009. For all you that don't know, I am "pushing" for 12:34 & 56 sec on July 8, 2009. Sandy & Christian's Wedding - June 13th

Sandy & Christian's wedding...June 13th, 2009...and finally the last of my crazy busy weekends! Time for some relaxing...and "nesting". I can't wait to have the baby's room finished!

The reception was at the old court house in downtown Cleveland, and absolutely beautiful.

Yes...I did look huge in the dress...and some how managed to survive the shoes...I think I am still paying for it though. (I tried to "squeeze" the picture a little...does that help?)
Best of all it was great catching up with everyone!! (Picture: Me, Jessi, Bethany, Kristen & Katie) We need to do this more often. Oh yeah, we have Bethany's wedding in the fall!!

Nicole & Bob's Wedding - June 6, 2009

A great time was had by all at Nicole & Bob's wedding. It was held in downtown Columbus, OH.
The wedding party visited the Ohio State Buckeye stadium.

Busy Weekends Ahead...First weekend Sandy's Batchelorette Party

Nick & I have three very busy weekends ahead...actually only 2 more :)

1. May 30th is Sandy's Batchelorette Party in Cleveland!

2. June 6th is Bob & Nicole's Wedding in Columbus!

3. June 13th is Sandy & Christian's Wedding in Cleveland!

Some time during this time we still need to find time to finish the baby's room. Lets just hope this baby doesn't decide to come earlier than 37 weeks and 2 days!

Here is an updated picture of me at 34 weeks & 2 days (May 25th). The belly is still growing strong, and I am still feeling great!

May 30th was Sandy's Batchelorette party in Cleveland, OH. The festivities started out with "sexy dance lessons," which will come in useful on the honeymoon. I decided to just stand behind the camera, and let everyone else participate.

The dance instructor was very outgoing, and made the event fun for everyone.

As you can see by these moves, there were very good reasons on why I decided to sit this one out :)

After dance lesson's Sandy opened her gifts, which included many new outfits!

We were then picked up by a 22 person stretch limo, and dropped off to dance the night away in downtown Cleveland!
