Brooke's going to have a little BROTHER!

The adventure started once again with just a little tiny "bean". Here is a picture of the little guy at 8 weeks old.
Then this weekend, it was lots of fun to celebrate the excitement of the ultrasound with all our parents! Here is a picture of my mom, dad, Brooke, and mother-in-law waiting in the waiting room at the Dr.'s office.
Brooke tried reading Grandpa's book, but just couldn't find any fun pictures. :( So sleepy...

We managed to squeeze all 7 of us in the ultrasound room. It was a lot of fun having everyone there to share in the excitement...especially when the tech announced it would be a boy, and took a very close picture of his manhood.
(All four of our parents also all came for Brooke's appointment...2 years ago!)
The ultrasound tech was a great sport for the visit! She mentioned she always had to look nice, as who knows how many pictures she was in the background of.....plus she knew she was probably all over the web on facebook...and blogs! Plus she talked about stories, on how its definitely not as much fun as she would have thought letting couples know for the first time they were having twins...or triplets! (She ensured us there was only 1 baby in there.)

Well Brooke what do you think of your little brother's pictures?
First family picture!! Too bad Shelly was missing :(

Here are a few of the ultrasound pictures!

It was fun watching the tech catch the "foot" picture! Also, hard to do an ultrasound exam when I am laughing.

Grandparents everywhere!

We had a very fun and busy weekend, with both our parents coming up to visit! Brooke didn't know what to do about all the attention. Between busy work schedules, and few colds, we haven't been able to visit with any of them since Christmas. :(

"Do you like my pretty crown?"

We drove through a serious snow storms (~8-10 inches) to enjoy a wonderful dinner at Mongolian BBQ. Plus it was great not having to do any dishes!
Brooke even enjoyed all the different combinations of food!
The happy group!

Happy Love Day!

We hope everyone enjoyed a fun, and loving Valentine's Day!

Brooke was very excited to play with her new balloon her daddy brought home for her!

She even tried to take the balloon hiding under the pool table.

Brooke also liked to snuggle with her new little monkey!

She read her monkey the Peek-a-Boo baby book.

Then she played with her balloon some more!

A new necklace from her Valentine's Day party at Daycare.

Then it was down to business to color some Valentine's Day cards.

"Daddy did I catch you coloring the cards?"

"OK I would love it if you helped!"

Ta da. All finished!

Miss Brooke is 19 Months Old!

Miss Brooke is officially 19ths old, and on her way to 2 years old! Everyday we get some very fun reports from daycare. Anything from her teaching the little girl sitting next to her at lunch "uh oh", to her following behind the kids who are dancing on the little foam squares and picking them up behind them giggling. We also get reports about her being the little social butterfly getting along with all the kids, and always excited to say hi to each of the parents as they arrive.

Her hair is really starting to get really long, and she is still great about keeping in a pony tail...or three, which means we won't need to cut it for quite some time. She fits perfectly into her 18 month clothing, with some of it still being a little big. She is up to about 21.6 lbs!

Here are our many attempts at her sign picture. Good thing she is such a good sport for mommy's entertainment! Just a happy little kiddo! I am sure it helped she ate her favorite dinner of ravioli!
"You guys are serious about this sign again aren't you??"
"Wow..this thing is really fun to kick!!"

"What do you think? Does it make a good hat?"

"Hmmm...I wonder where I can hide this thing..."
"I know!! My favorite spot under the pool table!"
And finally our last attempt at a picture of Miss Brooke and her sign!
