Christmas Train!

Brooke was very excited to help daddy set up the Christmas train and watch is ride around, and around the pool table.

Step 1. Take everything out of the box.
Step 2. Help daddy put together the track.

Step 3. Get the train cars out.

Step 4. Watch is go around and around!

Step 5. Keep Shelly from attacking the train.

Look daddy!!

Mmmm....ravioli

Well it looks like Brooke is going to share my love for ravioli. What do you think? :)

Do I have something on my face?

Miss Brooke is 17 Months Old

Brooke excitedly turned 17 months old today!! Everyday we are just amazed by the many things she is learning and can do. We have a lot of fun asking her to do stuff, and being amazed that she can do them the very first time we ask! (Who knows if she is just that skilled or really learning a ton at daycare!) Some examples include telling her to "take the tissue from the box", "wipe your nose" and then "throw it away in the garbage". Yes, she is a ace at doing it all! I think she enjoys throwing stuff away a little too much though, as she will just unroll the toilet paper, and walk over and throw it in the garbage.

She went to the Dr. last week to get her cough checked out, and we found out she also had her first ear infection, so she has been on antibiotics all week. Also, it looks like she is up to a whopping 22 lbs!

Some of her favorite foods are hot dogs, cheese, Trix cereal, corn, and animal crackers. Her favorite word is "Uh Oh", and she will say it continuously for no reason at all. I think she just likes the way it sounds. Apparently, we say uh oh a lot around this house! Here are her pictures from the day.

Bright and early in the morning before daycare.

Sneaking into the Trix Cereal with Shelly's help. (You can thank daddy for introducing her to the Trix. If they ever need a kid for the commercials, I am sure Brooke would be very excited to volunteer!)

"Really mom are you kidding, do I have to take a picture with this sign again??"
"Hmmm...I wonder if anyone will notice this ornament has gone missing...."
"Weeeeee....does this make my hair staticy?"

One of Brooke favorite games is still Peak a Boo!

Wordless Wednesday

P.S. Mmmmm Daddy's Chili is very, very nummy!

Mom this post is for you!!

My mother made us some very fun stuff (toys), when we were growing. One of the toys she made was this stuffed bunny rabbit and outfit. The outfit was made out of the same fabric as my comforter we quilted together. Brooke decided she wanted to trade outfits with the bunny rabbit for the afternoon. She let the bunny wear one of her pretty pink dresses. Here are a few of the pictures of Brooke and her new buddy Miss Bunny!

First they started the day by reading a book together....

Then she decided to take Miss Bunny over to her new house....
They had a wonderful chat, while relaxing at the table....

"Here Miss Bunny is the other side of my house."

"Wow....would you just look at the time..."

"Hmm...I think it time to go do something else.."

"Ta da!"
