Christmas Cookies!

I am sure our families will be very excited to hear we did our annual Christmas cookie baking extravaganza!  This year was even more fun than in the past, as Brooke joined in.  She helped make the some very yummy oatmeal cookies (no egg).

Step 1: Unwrap the butter

Step 2: Add the Sugar

Step 3: Mix it all together & make sure your fingers stay clean.

Step 4: Clean off the mixers!

Baby T & Shelly playing during the cookie making.

Baby T has mastered the skill of sticking out his tongue!

Brooke also helped make the Buckeye Cookies!  Needless to say, she really really wanted to lick the spatula with the peanut butter.

Nick also did a lot of the cooking!  I was just excited to get a picture of him wearing the apron.

Wordless Wednesday

Tyler is 5 Months Old!

Yeah! Tyler is 5 months old! He is also just a growing, growing little man, which means he is still eating about every three hours around the clock. We have had a few night were he went 4 hours, but still really enjoys hanging out with mommy in the middle of the night. Good thing he is always to happy & smiley to see me.

We have tried to start him on cereal, and have successfully gotten in a few bites. However, after about 4 he has had enough & is ready for just milk. Miss T has also started adding cereal to his afternoon bottle, which normally results in a 2 hour nap the same time as the other kids. It is still always very comforting to hear he is the "happy baby" at daycare and always so giggle.

He did a great job with his sign pictures!

He also started to discover the fun of paper.

SOOO yummy!

He is also really good a rolling to his belly.  However, he hasn't figured out how to go back to his back, and therefore has a tendency to get "stuck" on this belly & need rescuing.

Here is a short video of his mad jumping skills! Go Baby T.

Sign Picture for Shelly too?

Its very hard to believe Shelly is 7 years old....or actually 6 (oops)!  We got her about 1 year and 8 month after we were married....after I had proven I could keep a plant alive, and was worthy of a little puppy dog.  (Note: the plant is still alive and on top of our kitchen cabinet, at which I forget to water it often.  It's a very, very tough plant!)

Here is one of my favorite puppy pictures!  She used to love cuddling with Nick's feet.

Here is the "sign picture" I took, and then while typing up the blog, I realized it needed a little bit of TLC, so I updated with photo shop (paint) to the one below.

Brooke said Shelly also needed her picture in the chair, and wanted to join her.

Brooke then proceeded to put a bucket on her head, of which I couldn't resist the urge to snap a few pictures.

Christmas Decorating

Nick is used to lots, and lots of Christmas decorations.  Each year our decorating is increasing in magnitude.  We are up to three trees; 7.5 ft main one, 5.5 ft above the closet, and 3 ft in the playroom.

Here are just a few of the pictures of the kids helping to decorate the trees, and Nick putting the one above the closet.  I still need to find ornaments & a tree topper for that one!

Brooke & Tyler showing off their Christmas stocking from Aunt Lea.  I love having such a talented sister!

Tyler playing in the Christmas bags!

Brooke is 29 Months Old

I am glad for these monthly pictures, or I might get lazy with updating the blog!  This is a great excuse to keep the pictures coming.

These pic were well worth being a few minutes late to work to capture some early morning "month pictures".  Brooke continue to show how girlie she is with her latest love of "tink bell" & princesses.  I found these pajamas at a mom-to-mom sale...they are a size 4! However, she doesn't care and loves wearing them at any opportunity.  (Also, showing off her tinkerbell socks!)

Brooke & Baby T all ready to play at Miss T's house for the day!

Brooke playing with the manger set.  Of course she had to hold the "baby" and "mommy."

Brooke keeps on putting one of her babies in the bouncer.  Needless to say it kind if freaks me out each time I walk past.....

You may wonder the significance of this picture... Well we were preparing for a smorgasbord (leftovers) evening.  Nick put all the various types of food on the counter while Brooke watched.  We walked away for about 30 seconds, and found she had opened the cold pizza and was chowing down!  I guess she picked what she wanted for dinner!  This was also the first time she ate a whole piece of pizza, without me cutting it up into little bites.

Santa baby!

Sneak Peek....

Here is a sneak peek to the Christmas pictures!  Nothing too exciting but still fun.  We aren't actually using them for the Christmas cards, but more the calendar I make each year.

Here are some of their "enhanced" pictures.
