Basement Status Update

Basement update! The bar is almost finished! We spent the weekend working on the granite tile bar top, and tile floor in front of the bar.

Step 1. Drill the opening for the sink into the wooden base.

Step 2. Drill out the opening for the sink in the granite tile.

Step 3. Lay the granite tile counter top, and tile floor.

So if there were only three steps...why did it take us until 3:00 a.m. to finish! Here is a picture of the bar so far. The remaining items in the basement include, finishing the trim on the bar, painting the doors, touch up painting on all the floor boards, and then finally ordering carpeting! I can't wait.




We have 14 weeks & 5 days until the little baby girl is planned to be here! Hopefully, we can finish up the basement in time to start on the baby's room. Here is my 25 week, 2 day picture :)
